Located in the historic Hargrave-Sissons Block, Inspire Cafe brings a cosmopolitan breath of fresh air to downtown Medicine Hat. The artistic studio of local artist Maureen Newton is situated at the back of the cafe and is where she creates her paintings and also offers art instruction to students of all ages. Her artwork and that of a selection of other local artists graces the walls of the cafe. Inspire Cafe serves light breakfast, soup and sandwiches for lunch and has a nice dinner menu and also offers a different evening dinner feature every Wendesday to Friday night. Inspire has a wonderful selection of teas from the Metropolitian tea Co. and the house coffee is roasted locally by Creekside Roasting Co. Another terrific local coffee company, Bean There Coffee Co. roasts the dark, medium and decaf coffees for the french presses. Have a trip down memory lane and treat yourself to a Pop Shoppe pop or add some ice cream to create a fun and delicious float. The cafe is fully licensed and has a small selection of unusual beers and fine wines. Inspire has partnered with the Monarch Theatre for the Monarch 'Dinner and a Movie' promotion. Every Wednesday to Friday after 5:00pm, when you order the evening feature you receive a Monarch Theatre movie pass valued at $8.00 and is valid for one week.
